How the Islamic World Plans to Beat the West: A Gold Coin
The Return of the Gold Dinar
by Umar Ibrahim Vadillo
http://www.lewrockwell.com/sardi/sardi20.html

The Muslim world has found a novel way to strike back at the West – or at least at Western bankers who rule the world's currencies – introduce a gold coin. Malaysia expects to use gold dinars to trade only between Islamic countries beginning in 2003. The gold dinar, which is 4.25 grams of 24-carat gold, would unite Muslim nations who blame "greedy" currency traders for Asia's downfall in the economic crisis of 1997–98. There is also a silver Islamic Dirham coin of 3.0 grams silver. The dinar is being privately used in 22 countries and is minted in 4 countries.

The Malaysian premier, Prime Minister Mahathir Modamad, last year proposed that the gold dinar would eliminate paper money which has no intrinsic value and would cease making exchange rates arbitrary and subject to manipulation as seen during the Asian financial crisis. "The risk of speculation can be reduced to almost nothing. World trade can actually expand because the cost of business will be much reduced as the need to hedge will practically disappear," said Modamad.

Gold dinar, Syria, ~720 AD

The Islamic world has historically used a gold coin, the Dinar. Imad-ad-Dean Ahmad says "Muslims cannot escape the fact that gold is our money. Instead of fighting the will of Allah, I propose that we embrace it. If the one billion Muslims of the world would use gold as their unit of account the volatility would stabilize."

The dollar, franc, mark, pound, rupee, and all the other currencies of the world are called fiat currencies, that is, they are paper money made legal by law or fiat, although not backed by gold or silver and not necessarily redeemable in coin.

The result of a gold-backed currency in the world could cause the US dollar to crash in value. Some suggest the gold dinar would cause a shift in economic power from the West to the East. Trading in Islamic dinars is also planned to open up on the Internet.

Asalamulaikum,

Not only that, but it looks sweet!

Alhumdollilah, these are the little steps we have to take we before we establish a new Islamic Caliphate, Inshallah. If European kaffirs can establish their own currency, why can't the Muslim Ummah do the same?

Al-Furqan

Vol 4, Book 55. Prophets. Hadith 543.
Narrated By Abu Huraira : The Prophet said, "Allah created Adam, making him 60 cubits tall. When He created him, He said to him, "Go and greet that group of angels, and listen to their reply, for it will be your greeting (salutation) and the greeting (salutations of your offspring." So, Adam said (to the angels), As-Salamu Alaikum (i.e. Peace be upon you). The angels said, "As-salamu Alaika wa Rahmatu-l-lahi" (i.e. Peace and Allah's Mercy be upon you). Thus the angels added to Adam's salutation the expression, 'Wa Rahmatu-l-lahi,' Any person who will enter Paradise will resemble Adam (in appearance and figure). People have been decreasing in stature since Adam's creation.

Just me talking about ramadan/ school....
well, in our house we have a basement with an extra bedroom type of thing... I think im going to have to tell my wife tomorrow that im going to move into that room tomorrow, for the month... I mean i dont know how because my wife goes to school while i take care of our son... But i think ill tell my mom to come here for the rest of the month to take care of my son...

I really need to make the best out of this ramadan, insha'ALLAH i will put my self on a daily plan, unto which ill start out by being up at like 3am, to read Quran... pray, then Read more Quran, pray fajr... Sleep until zuhr, pray... read more Quran, and study in general...until asr, pray, probably sleep untill magrib, pray... eat, then sleep untill 3am and start over.....

i'll do that until i go to the masjid, for itikaf.... and ofcoarse friday prayers... Insha'ALLAH it will be the best for me.... So i think i might start this friday...Because ill have to pick my mom up from nyc.... Anyways, if i do do it.. Ill miss you guys =/.... anyways, i dont know if i told you's about me going to jordan next summer...

I talked to my imam one day at a so called "9'11" prayer, where upon i told him im interested in attending a school out of country... He said he knows' people at this school in jordan that i would be able to attend... He said its not a popular school, so its hard for him to give me info on it.. Like a website or anything, but he told me its a very good school... He also informed me it would take 7-8 years to learn arabic/quran/hadith.. He asked me several times if im definetly sure...Which i am, i was willing to leave this september but the school already started, So i had to wait till next sept.. So he told me that at june we would start to get things ready, like write them a letter, make sure someones at the airport, and all that... Im kind of nervous though because i dont have a visa' or passport and im not sure how they work, or if he knows i dont have one.... Thats why i want to know how long they take to get, how much they cost, and how long they last... But really im so excited to be going, i mean i think about it everyday... But i think my wife is more excited lol, its like her whole family is so suprised/happy that her husband is into the religion.... ALhumdullillah, i still pray to ALLAH'swt that he guides me on the right path.... But trully im so happy, to know ill be close enough to something to actually put forth effort... I plan on doing good in school, but truly if the chance comes up for Jihad, i wont hesitate... Insha'ALLAH that chance will come... But yah, like every friday i ask more about the school, about going, and stuff... But i think im bothering him lol, I mean i just really want to make sure it will happen... Im starting to save up the money now because, he said all i need to pay is the plane ticket and like 100 to the school... and the plane ticket dont cost that much maybe like 650... So insha'ALLAH i will be able to go... Anyways, id'e like to know any information anyone has on any islamic schools in jordan, or any information about jordan...and about visa's/passports.... I mean i know there is no perfect "islamic state" But it has to be better the america...

Also, if anyone else is extremely interested in attending the school, and is willing to, allowed to... It might be possible for you to go with me... Because the imam said it would be good for me to go with someone... SO insha'ALLAH if your a male, and would like to go and live in usa, or canada...... Pm me about it....

Sorry if im rambling on, just trying to talk about it.... Jazak'ALLAHu khairun... also if you know the program to change real media to mp3 let me know thanks!

As salaamu alaykum wa rahmatuh ALLAHi wa barakatuh...

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah

Akhi, may Allah, s.w.t., gives you what's best for you and your family. Ameen! I think that's a good idea what you are planning to do, both in Ramadan and the study, inshaAllah.

I was thinking of going to Medina to study, but my situation here changed and I can't go now . Here in Europe, the University of Medina is looking for students every year (sep-oct). They pay everything for you. However there are some rules:

- You must have completed the high school (I am not sure if it's high school or higher)
- You are not older than 26. In this case you'll study in Medina for 6 years (Qur'an, hadith, fiqh...);
- If you are older than 26, but not older than 30, you can still study but not in Medina. You can study Arabic for 2 year in Riyadh, I guess;
- You must own British, German, Dutch, Bosnian, French or any other European passport.

This is what they offer Bosnian Muslims and I don't know if this applies to other Muslims too.

I pray to Allah, s.w.t., to help you go to Jordan and study there. I know couple of brothers who studied there. They went to Jordan after the jihad in Bosnia.

And btw, I think I have a program for you, inshaAllah. Check your PM.

Wassalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah
